The Euskalduna Palace.

Opened on February 19, 1999, the Palace of Congresses and Music Euskalduna Jauregia is a very unique building, one of the flagships of the new Bilbao XXI century.

Conceived by its architects Federico Soriano and Dolores Palacios, like a ship in permanent construction, emerging from a dam in which the shipyard was located Euskalduna Palace Enric Miralles won the 2001 at the Sixth Biennial of Spanish Architecture.

Is a large multifunctional complex of 53,000 m2, located in the center of Bilbao, which brings together varied and numerous activities of a business-economic, institutional, social and cultural. It develops the Opera Season ABAO, one of the most important and prestigious of all the State and Europe, and is also the seat of the Bilbao Symphony Orchestra, a magnificent musical institution that gave its first concert in 1922.
